Running A Half Marathon Training
Want to learn how to run a half marathon?
I am making this page for all of the runners who need advice and expertise to train for running the half marathon and have some fun doing it too.
To be successful their are three key components that must be used when planning to run a big 13.1 mile half marathon:
- Staying motivated
- Training safe and smart for running the big race
- Maintaining good nutrition during training
Professional training programs rid yourself of the days where you have to just "gut it out". You need to focus on your goals for each and everyday and remain motivated.
It should not be hard for you to get up everyday and train if you have goals. Ask yourself the following questions:
- Why do I want to run a half marathon?
- What is going to keep me motivated?
- Do I have the heart and desire to do it?
If you were able to answer all of those questions then you probably have a reason for what is driving to experience the half marathon.
It doesn't matter if you run everyday or haven't laced up your running shoes in over a decade. Anyone can run a 13.1 mile race! However their is one exception: You must have a training program and the motivation to run it.
So how do you train for the big race?
Easy you go out and get a program or if you are a seasoned veteran when it comes to race preparation then you can create your own.

My friend is running a half marathon for the first time. Its cold up here in Scotland and she wonders what seasoned runners would recommend she purchase to run in. At present she runs in baggy joggers and shirt but is quite competitive and would like to do well, and justify the hours of training she is doing!
