Is feeling dizzy along with the chills normal after your first running workout? (please read more details)?

I ran about 2 miles for the very first time today, it was torture, and now I'm back it's been a couple of hours since the run and my face is blood red, I'm cold and dizzy with some pretty heavy chills. Is this normal? What's going on in my body? I am about 30-40 lbs overweight as well.

First time out, yeah it's going to be tough!! You might of went out too fast too far. I now my first day out I could only manage 10 mins of running. It's really a better idea to start of slowly so you can build up. You keep doing what you're doing, you're going to burn out and hate running.

Good job getting out tho and keep it up, It's really great!
