If you are not a runner already, you have to start at the beginning. These are the resources I used to get to my first marathon. I started by walking every day for 2 months before even thinking of trying to run. Remember the key to completeing a marathon is training. Training takes time and persistence. Good Luck!

1/2 marathon plan 17 weeks ( love the run/walk pattern of this program. Plan to do a 1/2 before you do a full. The whole scope of the marathon was scary until I did the half.)
