I am also playing prostreet but my computer is of low performance as compared to yours but it used to run smoothly on my pc.
Must, check that no anti virus software is running in background.
and also delete your temp and history files.
Start> Run > %temp%
Now del. all temp. history and temp. internet files.
Then it should work properly even I used to do the same now.
Go to task manager:
Processes tab and end process of all unwanted program.
But still a lot of diff would be there and I am sure.
