Show me another »Are there any beginners running clubs in Mpls, MN?
I'm not an avid runner, never have been, but I've always enjoyed running. I would like to run a 5K or 10K someday, but for now I'm looking for a simple runner's club that trains and teaches the basics of how to run. I don't want to join extreme running clubs, I feel intimidated by those runners; I wouldn't last a couple of minutes. Any suggestions?

I know that Gear Running on 40th and France has a running club that meets on Wednesdays and Saturdays, i think, it may have changed. I would just try going to a specialty running store and asking them if they know of any running clubs, and they will know and be willing to tell you. Try going to any twin cities running stores or any Run 'n Fun stores, and i believe that they have running clubs for all levels. Hope I helped!
