How do you recover the toolbar which indicates all running programs?

I accidentally lost the toolbar portion which nests the running programs. What remains are the quick launch toolbar and other other extras.

Additional Details

I like to refine the details to be exact. The task bar has several listed toolbar options, but nowhere is the toolbar for minimized programs. Yes, it can be hidden or popped-up, slid back and forth to fit the window, but the toolbar for minimized jobs is totally gone. I suspect that it had been erased. I wish to have it back.

Right click on the toolbar (actually called the task bar) and make sure that Lock the Taskbar is not checked. You should see some dotted lines appear on the Task bar. Slide those bar right or left to increase or decrease the space for each section of the task bar. Once you get it the way you want it, you may want to Lock the Taskbar again to keep it from getting accidentally changed in the future.

It might have my mistake that I didn't put more details to my question. But thank you, dewcoons, for the extra great effort. As for the others, my sincere thanks too. You were all helpful.
