Running Races in Rochester MN

Running has been a popular sport for as long as anyone can remember. Some people like to run to relieve stress, some do it to stay in shape and for other health benefits, and some do it in order to help other people. In no particular order, a few of these types of races are listed below.

This list does not include all of the races in Rochester, but provides a glimpse of some of the events and groups that have been dedicated to helping non-profit organizations. Giving money is good, but backing up a donation with the effort required to run 5K, 10K, or even a full marathon, that is great. These types of events can give a sense of accomplishment unlike anything else, and participation in at least one of them is strongly encouraged.

There are a number of other fun runs, competitive events, and kids' events offered throughout the year in both Rochester and the surrounding area. So if one is looking for a competitive race, a chance to help out a non-profit organization, or to just get some exercise, there are many options from which to choose.

How Can we Make the SPCA Dog Adoption Events Run Smoother? (Answers: 3) (Comments: 0)
All the volunteers want to have breaks, some dogs don't get along, everyone wants to sit in the cage with the puppies, the big dogs need more people. I do shots and paperwork, and the adoption counselors aren't always there, either one or 2 and their are a lot more adoptions now. We have red badges for the volunteers that can answer questions. I mean that want breaks after 5 minutes in the cage. we do it at a local petco outside What can we do to make it smoother?

please help name of an event.? (Answers: 1) (Comments: 0)
I'm organizing an event for aug 4th. at the local park. so far it's aim is to incorporate hobbies, leisuretime activities, sports and crafts. It's really ment to be dynamic and incourge people to get involved. To learn, Participate and join local groulps, clubs and organizations. If it dont exist yet get out and make this community have what you allways wanted to have. I'd like something short, catchy and very discriptive. Eventually I could see this event running in a park in every community. Thanks I'm just having a hard time to encapsulate everything. P.S. If you can think of a symbol or trade make that would help also.
