Industrial Motion Control Design
Industrial Motion Control
High-power industrial motion control is a demanding art requiring a mix of power electronics techniques coupled with modern digital signal processing. Orchid's two board industrial motion control set provides multiple high power pulse width modulation drivers (PWM), precision analog servo circuitry, and digital signal processing.
Digital Signal Processing-Pulse Width Modulation
High speed digital signal processing algorithms continuously provide eight streams of pulse width modulation data to the motor control power electronics. Low-voltage, high-current MOSFET and TRENCHFET devices drive power electronics in an H-bridge configuration. The two board set provides isolation between the power electronics on the lower board and the control systems on the upper board.
High Precision 24-Bit Analog Electronics
Twenty Four Bit high-precision analog conversion electronics together with Pulse Width Modulation control systems form the control plane of this multi-channel motion control system. Data conversion rates of 40KHz together with multichannel PWM outputs enable high performance.

How often should I change my running sneakers? (Answers: 3) (Comments: 0)
I run from late January all the way through mid November. I run about 35-45 miles a week 6 days a week depending on what my coach wants me to run. I never run in the rain or snow only when it is sunny. How often should I change my sneakers? Is once a year good, or what because my dad does not want to keep buying my new running sneakers that often. Also, I have another pair of sneakers not for running so I just use my running shoes while running.

Running the central fan: what good does it do in the summer? (Answers: 5) (Comments: 0)
We have central air. I've run the air conditioning in the summer, but I don't know what the use of the fan is during the summer? Is it as expensive as running the Air Conditioning. Should I just run the ac in the summer instead of the fan or are there benefits to running the fan?

How much running is safe for a high school freshman? (Answers: 10) (Comments: 2)
I ran in cross country this season (our cross country team is super intense, averaging 6-7 miles six days a week) so I definitley am in shape. Now that season is over, I'm not sure if I should be conditioning or still running. If i kept running, I'd only run about 15-20 miles week. Will I get injured? I realllly wanna keep running though! I'm actually planning on maybe running a half marathon! Helpp!

Is running that bad for you and your knees when you have good running gear? (Answers: 6) (Comments: 2)
Hey guys. I've heard running is bad for your knees. First of all, I have perfect running gear and everything. I also just finished cross country season at school. I know I'm going to run more, but I've heard it's bad for your knees. Even if I still run with perfect gear and shoes, will I still damage/harm my knees. I just didn't want to have anything messed up or any problems when I grow up to be around 40+. I'm really healthy and fit, can you guys help me? Thanks.
